For many parents schooling is the number one priority for their children. Unfortunately children do not always see it the same way, and dislike school because it stifles their freedom. Children who are unmotivated by the school system will find the process tiring, trying and tedious. The answer is to inspire an interest for learning in your child. An interested and motivated child, will achieve great things.

There have been many cases of different kinds of nursing home neglects that has caused senior citizens suffer physically and emotionally. Three of the most common are emotional neglect, medical neglect, and personal hygiene neglect. All of these are serious types of neglect and require immediate intervention to prevent life-threatening illness in elder-lies.

How to Recognise Nursing Home Neglects
When the emotional needs of the patient or senior citizen are not promptly tended by the care facilities it is called the emotional neglect. Due to the fact that there are no physical signs of emotional neglect, it becomes the more difficult kinds of neglect to identify. The only way of finding out if emotional neglect is happening is through communication. Often the patient are not able to convey the abuse to their families or other authorities due to the fact that they are unsure as to whether or not what they are experiencing is abuse. It becomes necessary therefor to ask a family member or friend in a nursing home if they are happy or not. How they feel about their needs being met by the facility and staff. Food Comes First
No new mum should ever have to worry about what’s for supper, so if you only do one thing, then making food and bringing it to her should be it. All you have to do is whip up a few quick meals that can be frozen and easily thawed, such as a casserole, pizza or soup, and label them accordingly. Showing up once in a while with fresh baking or a picnic basket filled with other goodies is also ideal, or you can pick up a few fresh fruits and veggies from the farmer’s market to save her a trip to the shops. Have Reading Time Every Night
From when you child is a baby, it is a great idea to read to them every night before bed, as not only will your little one love the soothing sound of your voice, you will also be preparing their developing brain for dealing with words and sentences in the near future. As they start to learn how to talk, get them to have a go at the reading too, as the sooner they are trying to pronounce words and read sentences the better.
