So you’ve decided to redecorate your living room. It’s the room that, along with the kitchen, tends to be the busiest in the house. You’re going to spending a lot of time in there so it’s economical to make sure you choose your new colour scheme well.

If you’re decorating in order to sell your home it’s probably best to opt for neutral colours. This gives new buyers a blank canvas to work with as neutral will look good against most furniture. Otherwise there is no need to have to be conservative if you want to splash a bit of colour around the room. Read more… »

One of my closest friends has just announced that she is expecting her first child after many years of wanting and waiting. I am so delighted for her naturally, and it has made me think about all the wonderful things there are to look forward to with a new baby. Nostalgia-tinted memories have come flooding back to me of tiny baby clothes, prams and the joy of creating a nursery.

These days you don’t have to decorate in pale pink, blue or yellow you can choose from a much wider range of options. If you don’t find out the sex of the baby before they are born then it is safest to go for something which isn’t a gamble – there would be nothing worse than a baby boy in a fairy-themed room for example, Granddad would never forgive you. Shopping Trials

One of the most difficult things to accomplish with small children in tow is a satisfactory shopping trip. Quite frankly you are better off not even bothering most of the time, but if you absolutely have to run this particular gauntlet then here are a couple of ideas which might help you out…

I have recently discovered the benefits of supermarket shopping when your child is hungry. This may sound like madness but actually it really works. The idea is that you strike a deal that they have to stay in the trolley seat whilst eating and then you just feed them all the way round. Read more… »

There’s nothing quite like that wonderful feeling of being stuck on the side of the road with a whole range of possible issues with your car and trying to guess what happens next. The world gets put on hold while you deal with this mess. You may wind up with someone gouging you for “travel” times, etc. as well. This is the sort of situation that turns people into pedestrians, and it’s avoidable. What you need is a good mobile car repair service on tap when you’re in trouble.

The fact is that cars do break down. That’s mainly because of not keeping them serviced, which is another thing a good mobile repair crew can get under control for you. There are a lot of good reasons for taking the hard work out of owning a car by getting your servicing done properly and regularly. One of the best reasons is the sheer amount of time and money that servicing saves you over the life of your car. Read more… »

Womens Intuition

We know what we want, when we want
And we're not afraid to ask
When we find, we we're right all along
We relish and in the moment we bask
Call it women’s intuition
Anything you desire
Women are more intelligent than men
Women are so much higher
Women control their lives
We are strong and so not weak
We can tell when you men are lying
From just the way you speak
We always have a comeback
For anything you say
We will always win the fight
We'll never back away
So don't forget to bow
To any women you meet
And try not to boys
Wolf whistle at us in the street
